Emmeline’s birth was the second birth I ever photographed. Since then, I’ve seen her at three months, six months, nine months, one year, two years, two and a half years (for belly, birth, and newborn photographs with her little sister), and now again at three years. I LOVE watching this girl grow and change. What a great job, right? On January 31st (her actual birthday) we went to the Everett train station to get some images to celebrate. Emmeline needed some time to warm up (don’t we all?), but once I started telling her NOT to smile, she pretty much had a perma-grin.
Sweet little sister, Penelope, is now six months old and one of those babies you just want to squeeze. Penelope didn’t feel like participating in pictures unless she was in someone’s lap. We made it work. And while we did, I’m sure we were the amusement of every traveler in the station. Oh well. That’s what it takes to get images like these.

And congratulations to Angel and Eric for not only surviving, but thriving, through the last three years. I love watching your lives unfold.
PS. Yes, the winning commenters and image from the last post will be announced soon.
PPS. Why yes, that IS my new logo watermarking the above images. I LOVE it! My wonderful designer (and friend), Julia, has been working so hard for me and I adore the results. It gives me goosebumps to see the new logo with my images. Thank you, Julia!
