When choosing a new project I always like to pick one that will be a challenge and is something I have never done before. This one certainly qualifies.
This particular weekend we got to spend with our good friends at their condo in the San Juan Islands. Just in case, I got the materials for this project to take with me. The first part was relatively straight forward.
It got a little tricky when it came time for the sleaves but I followed the pattern and it all worked out. Here I have 3 of the 8 rows of “seashells” finished. It’s kind of an easy but cool effect.
Here is the finished project. I got lucky and it fits her perfectly. Now on to something a little more difficult.
