Car.

Wally has five matchbox cars. He really likes them, and so does his sister. That doesn’t mean we need any more, though.

Slush.

Wally got new boots today. They’re too big, but I’m hoping they’ll last him all the way through next winter. He’s pretty pleased. And he can get them on by himself, which makes mama happy. Of course, he doesn’t know about getting them on the right feet yet.

Watching.

Anything Abby does, Wally wants to do, too. Thankfully, watching the snow fall was something they could do together.

Three.

Slim pickings today. It was between this one and a shot with her finger in her nose. You may be wondering why Abby has made infrequent appearances in the frames of the days recently. This is why. She’s been feeling very three lately.

Snow.

Wally had his first experience in snow this morning. Sure, we’ve had other snow days, but I was sick or lazy and didn’t feel like bundling everyone up for a snow adventure. Today, I did. Wally wore Abby’s old snow pants, a new snow coat from grandma, a hat I made him, and Abby’s old...

Snap.

Abby likes to bring a chair over to my desk and look through my reader with me. Usually this is while Wally naps, but he went down early today, and was up and jealous of Abby’s prime position. He came over and hit her hard. And before I could catch him and say, “Wally, we...

Alone.

I got out of the shower this morning to find that Abby had retreated to her room to read books in bed, leaving Wally alone in the playroom. He was lying on the bench playing with his tongue and seemed pretty content to stay there. I ran to get my camera and found him in...

Over and over and over again. Even when Mama is not egging him on to try and get a photo.

Wake up.

Abby fell asleep on the couch during quiet time today. Wally woke up before she did, and as soon as he saw her, he picked up Brown Bear, Brown Bear and went over to wake her up and ask her to read to him. Poor guy. Abby does not handle sleep interruption well. She refused...
