Measuring.

We had our 28 week appointment at the birth center today. Sunita drew some blood (to check my iron levels), took my blood pressure, listened to the baby’s heartbeat, and measured my belly. It’s now measuring 29 weeks, which is getting closer to where I actually am. The kids watched it all with interest.

Wrapping.

Trev and the kids spent the majority of the weekend getting his miniature golf course ready to take in to work (to raise money for the American Heart Association, and to hopefully earn himself and his employees an extra vacation day). Underwater.

Abby’s new favorite thing to do in the pool is to swim under water. She has a hard time getting herself down to the bottom of the pool, but she will try and try and try and has so much fun doing it.

Hat.

All day long I wanted to get a great shot of Wally in my hat. He found it in the car and looked adorable with his chubby cheeks and blue eyes and dimpled chin poking out underneath. Of course, when I finally had a chance to get my camera out, it was past his bedtime...

Red Leaves.

Both kids came running into my office this evening yelling that I had to come out to the garden and look, QUICK! What was so urgent? They had found red leaves on our blueberry plant! We’ve been pointing out red leaves everywhere we see them lately because they mean that fall, and November, are coming....

Family.

For our annual family photo up at Orcas, I decided to take advantage of the gorgeous evening light and a field I found on one of my runs. Bonnie came with us and did a great job as photographer. I love what we got! The kids definitely earned their post-shoot s’mores.
